I have two works-in-progress and no shortage of ideas.
The first is a humorous young adult book with a teenage boy who believes blood is thicker than water, a mother who disagrees, new families, genes, genealogy and one boy’s quest for a father.
Ever since I can remember, I’ve wanted to write about the East End of London and now I’m working on an adult novel, set in and around the old London library of my childhood in Whitechapel. It’s about who gets their voice heard, who doesn’t, and living on the margins of society.
I also have three unpublished picture books ready and looking for a good home.
